Small Group Bible Study ---- Paul: A Biography

I'm excited to announce that we will be doing a Bible study on the Apostle Paul taught by Bishop N.T. Wright. It's going to be intense, but worth the commitment as St. Paul is one of the most prominent figures in Scripture (he wrote 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament) and in the ancient world. Understanding the life of Paul will, for one, help in our understanding of the context he wrote his letters, portions of which we hear virtually every Sunday. Understanding the shape of Paul's life will strengthen our understanding of the Scriptures as a whole and lead us closer to the Lord Jesus Christ of whom they speak.

You can read a course description here:

As shown above, the study will be conducted through Udemy. The small group studies are a new thing on this platform, so I'm in communication with their staff, trying to determine the best way to run the group. As soon as I've worked out the kinks, I'll open registration and set a hard launch date for the group.

In the meantime, if you're planning on taking this course, (though not required) I suggest that you go ahead and get the accompanying book -- "Paul: A Biography" by NT Wright. It's available in print and digital formats:

If you are indeed interested in doing this study, send me an email at Getting a rough head count will help to determine if we need to offer more than one meeting time.
