Launch Team Update

I hope that this message finds you doing well, and having had a wonderful summer.  I wanted to touch base with you all especially since we are planning to have our first service in 84 days (but who’s counting?!).  I’m going update everyone by way of sharing the 2019 calendar, but first wanted to make a point to remind you to be in prayer specifically regarding where God would have you to serve.  Click here for a quick survey where you can see the various ministry opportunities and, of course, communicate your area(s) of interest.

Here is what’s on the horizon:

August 18th: Fr. Matt preaching at Church of the Messiah in Winter Garden, FL

September 8th at 5pm @ the Conway Residence:  Launch Team Training

There will be an opportunity for those who have recently heard of All Souls to learn more about the mission, but the main thrust will be a “ministry fair” where members can move towards finding a place of service. Dinner will be served. Click here to RSVP.

Early October : Launch Team Retreat

More details to come…

October 19th: Ministry Team Bootcamp at Bay Lake Elementary

This will be day of formation and training in which members can be trained in their respective areas of service. Click here to RSVP.

October 27th at 10am: Launch Team Commissioning at Church of Ascension

November 2nd at 4pm:  All Souls’ Day

This is our feast day!  We will meet at Bay Lake to set up for our first service and commit our first service and this brand new old church to the Lord.

November 3rd at 10am @ Bay Lake Elementary: First Holy Eucharist

Think of this as the “soft opening.”  We need some time to grow together as a church and also to grow as ministers in our place of service.

December 1st:  First Public Service (Advent I)

Think of this as the “grand opening.”  Our advertising and marketing will be focused on inviting our neighbors to attend their first service on the first Sunday of Advent.

Can’t wait to see all of you at the Conway’s home on September 8th for food, fellowship, and formation!
